THE UNICORN - FRENCH - 1943
The Unicorn is a three mast fictitious vessel appearing in
the adventures of Tintin & Milou, the secret of the Unicorn
and Rackham The Red Treasury published in 1943 and 1944. Having
as main characters; Captain Haddock, Dupont & Dupond and
Professor Tournesol. The Unicorn was commanded by Captain
François Hadoque, who was capture by Rackham The Red
and flibustiers, after a fight between the Chevalier Hadoque
and Rackham The Red, the Capitaine Hadoque was stun by a deadeye
and the Forbans became master of the ship. Tied with the mast
of his own ship, Chevalier Hadoque tried to release himself
and eventually succeeded, he set fire to the ship, with on
board all the crew and the treasure of the Rackham The Red.
