The "FranceII" is the 41th Oceanliner which has a
lot of history behind it and order was placed on the 25th May
1956, In the Shipyard of Penhoet by the transa. It was built
at Saint Nazaire and was presented to the French people on the
21st November 1961. It was inaugurated by Michel Debre. In 1974
the "France" was put aside for
five years in the "Quai de l'oubli" and was bought
by the Norvegians.
